We write the stories you will never tell.
wise words, and nice touch on the photo
“so when the devil wants to dance with you, you better say never. because the dance with the devil might last you forever” – Immortal Technique.
But you wouldn’t know they’re devils sometimes. 🙂
I had to search what portraiture means. For a while, I thought it was a term you coined for us and that it meant “portrait” + “literature.” 🙂
… I think I prefer your definition!
Yes, there is no peace with demons. They will have their way or nothing. Wise words help win the battle but the war goes on until the demons are defeated.
I also like the red on the nails. To me it represents a kind of battle scar, the blood of the demons perhaps? Or her own suffering? Very, very well done.
Thanks, Carroll! We all have our inner demons to deal with. It varies from person to person but no one is exempted.
love the picture and love the cheek bones!
Thanks! She is a beautiful woman. 🙂
I reiterate here what David has said above re the demon, I have one too.
I love the touch of red on the nails; it reminds me of a study I did on a painting when I did a course on Art History quite a few years ago.; I can’t remember the painting; I must look iy up!
I think I have more than my fair share, hahahaha! Thanks, Christine!
I have a demon who lives on my left shoulder.
And you are right – every now and again she will whisper seductively in my ear 🙂
I do well to continue to ignore her!!!
That is a nice picture. Is it of you? Or one of you actually 🙂
No, she’s not any of us. 🙂 One of these days, we might pop up in a photo, though. 😛
True, it’s hard to ignore seductive demons!
