We write the stories you will never tell.
I am enjoying this, and have subscribed. Inspiring!
Thank you! 😀
I really enjoy looking great snaps… and with this u really bring the emotions on the photo u used… excellent
Love the words. I see a pang of loneliness in your words in contrast to the supposedly happy moment captured in the photo. Let this be a reminder for us that happy moments are best cherished and not forgotten. 🙂
Thank you. I often find the need to remind myself of that. 🙂
When an idea is profound, it wears a cloak above a cloak that has been peeled away to reveal a truth that we often sense, but seldom see. The saying above alone would not peel away as many cloaks without the photograph. The two together reverberate into time and let us see the present, the future, and the past as one time, a moment that is many moments. This moved me.
The saying above alone would not peel away as many cloaks without the photograph.
Thank you for your lovely comment especially that part I quoted. We are a small team of a couple of writers and a couple of photographers with different styles and ideas, so to hear that people appreciate an entry as a set (as every entry is intended to be) assures us that we’re on the right track. 🙂 Thanks for visiting! 😀
What a fantastic expression you’ve caught on that man’s face. I love the colouring of this photo too, and the words, or course. I like that the dreams are only half-forgotten.
I would like to believe that we don’t really forget. It’s all there in the subconscious, or so scientists have said! 😛
Thank you for dropping by. 🙂
Beautifully poignant with truth….
Thanks, Betty! 🙂
SO – not DO!!
Ah, the greatest horror for a writer is a typo that can’t be edited! It happens to me a lot. 🙂
What a sad thought – probably because there is do much truth in it!!
Yes, and the truth stings sometimes.
