We write the stories you will never tell.
Welcome here! And thanks. ^_^
Two sentences that will resonate with so many. Excellent post!
Why, thank you! 😛
(And now, I’m doubly self-conscious about my grammar, LOL.)
This is a wonderfully atmospheric picture. The simplest subjects can often make the most compelling images, I think. The words are so apt; suggestive of a closed door. And no chance of it being opened again…
Thank you, BH! Yes, simple things hold so much potential to convey a story. 🙂
Wow! So much pain in those few little words – well done!
Thank you, Betty!
Painful yet truthful. Great job!
This is so sad…it also seems so final with the pitch black in the back. I hope this is just a thought provoking photo and not something you are currently experiencing, if the former…good job, if the later, I am so sorry and now I think I will go cry in a corner.
Happy Thanksgiving! 😉
We don’t celebrate Thanksgiving here, but I think the thought behind that occasion is lovely. 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
As for whether or not I’m going through this … let’s just say that at one point, almost all of us, sadly, go through this.
Ouch! Very piercing!
And I love the roughness of the wood, that says a lot!
Thanks, Christine. Photos indeed speak a thousand words.
Wow! So much said in so few words. Excellent.
