Vol. 1 Ch. 3 P. 29

road, right turn, travel

‎For the longest time, I know you’ve been trying to find your way home,
and most of the time, I wish you would.
But I must confess that there are times when I wish you wouldn’t,
so that I could keep you here with me.

  1. Ah, this is excellent! It made me think of a cherished memory that I’d rather not tarnish with any return “home”. You’ve really nailed that paradox – that sometimes the memory is more “with us” than the reality would be….

  2. How well this describes some wayfarers, either human or mammal, I have known and “hearthed” for a time! And aren’t we all wayfarers on this earth, looking for our way “home”? Let us cherish every microsecond we have with each other here; and let us joyfully anticipate when we will travel together that endless highway forever in light and love.
