Vol. 2 Ch. 1 P. 4

leaves, night, branches

This year, I’m daring to believe
that magic can also happen to me.
I have nothing to lose but my assumptions, anyway.

  1. I really like that last comment on the picture. I’m constantly trying to tell myself to give up control over things/outcomes/people, etc. I tell myself I’m not even really giving up control, just the illusion of control, so it shouldn’t be so hard. But it can be 🙂 thank you!

  2. Magic is being here with all of you! We are all magical beings created in His image. The magical, light-filled, exuberant photo you have gifted us with here today can overshadow and enlighten us all at the same time. Let it be so.

  3. I believe magic is a dim vision of the glory that is really behind all goodness. Believing in magic can lead deeper into that eternal goodness. Excellent words and photo. I love the colors, which look too good to be true if you will forgive the irony in that phrase.

    • Carroll!!! Happy new year!!!

It’s great that you pointed it out, how the colors seem too good to be true, because this is one photo that is raw and untouched. There was no need to. 🙂 Does this mean that magic is already at work? 😀

      • Happy New Year to you too. Magic has never stopped working.
Have you read the Narnia books? If not, and if you are inclined, try The Magician’s Nephew. Magic lovers anywhere should read that one particularly.
