Vol. 2 Ch. 1 P. 27
Time is a tailor weaving a fabric in your mind.
It makes tomorrow seem so far away and ten years ago, like yesterday.
It gives air for your fantasies to burn but asks for your memories in return.
It lets you forget what you want to remember; what you want to forget, you will never.
Time is a traitor leaving holes and gaps behind.
I love this one; a tailor and a traitor indeed. Very original way of expressing something that is very true.
this is awesome, one of my fave from your post,
Hit me, I don’t know why, but yes, strongly hit me… Beautiful shot! Thank you, with my love, nia
This will be a favorite of mine – I love it!!!!
fa pensare a una tela di FONTANA, sostituendo gli strappi ai tagli…

Hi! What does this comment mean? I would use Google Translate but it’s not the most reliable thing in the world. š

LUCIO FONTANA: i Tagli
Oh, now I see! š Thank you! Too bad I can’t understand the language, but I do appreciate the visuals. š
Your picture reminds me of the original cover design for Joy Division’s “Unknown Pleasures” !!!
I had to Google that up, and now I’ve seen it, yes, I agree! I’ve never heard of this band before, but now I’m quite curious.
Time is a torn and stretched fabric once perfectly woven before the foundations of the world. We go now with what patches we weave as we unravel and reweave and patch. Wonderful illustration and wonderful metaphor for mankind’s history on this planet.
And some of us have more patches than others. But a patched quilt is very interesting, as compared to a plain one. š
Time has brought me to a point where i don’t know what i’m doing anymore. I’ve gone past the stage of wanting the things in my memory, but i still find myself going out of the way for the person in it.
It does make us feel terribly confused, doesn’t it?
It sure does. The fine line we call Balance can be so hard to detact. And oftentimes, once we cross that line, we can’t see the “before” anymore. Hence, here we are, stuck in a mass of confusion and phobias.
I like this one a lot. It works into things I had also been thinking in different words.
Hi Carroll, nice to see you again! How are you?
And if you wash the fabric of time it tends to help reinvent itself
it tends to help reinvent itself
Sometimes, more often than we want! š
Very True! š¦
God Bless!
Prenin.
Right back at ya, Prenin! š
can’t agree with you more. it’s a beautifully woven line.
Ain’t that the frustrating truth?
Thank you, btw. š
Happy birthday, M!
