ferris wheel, spinning round, moving too fast

We were going too fast but not getting anywhere.
We moved only when we stopped.

  1. This is an amazing picture – very cleverly done!

And your words remind me a little of a quote which goes something like

    “Don’t hurry, don’t worry
And don’t forget to smell the
    flowers along the way”

  2. Reblogged this on granbee and commented:
    STOPPING PLACES TO GET SOMEWHERE

Indeed, we can only move into a better place AFTER we first STOP and truly THINK, then just BE for a time. The light to show us the way forward is only perceived at such stopping places.

      • Thanks for answering! How strange. I’m new to this so I’ll have to see what’s up (and update my gravatar). My blog is Postcards from Italy and it’s nataliasarkissiandotwordpressdotcom.

  4. You could not persuade me, ever, to go on one of those rides!!

They are the perfect illustration of movement creating the illusion of progress!!

But I will stand and watch if you go on it 🙂

  5. I, for one, hold on far too tightly when going so fast. Especially on one of those rides. Love the combination of photos and words, it works really well together.
