Ch. 2 Vol. 3 P. 24

Every now and then,
it amuses me how much we’re suited for a life in the dark,
how deeply we’re attracted to the moon,
how thin our skin is,
how fragile our sanity can be.

  1. I’ve just spent about 48 hours with weak Internet connection – does that count as being in the dark? The moon has nothing to do with this…..great post…timely, for me, then again, I’m late to the party 🙂

    • ” … does that count as being in the dark?”

In this digital age, yes! 😛 I found this: Cisco found that more than half said they could not live without the Internet, and if forced to choose, two-thirds would opt to have the Internet over a car. We’ve become too dependent on the Internet (and I’m guilty hahaha)!

  2. This is so beautiful. I believe that stability is is an illusion and that being fragile is really the only stability there is. Anyone of us can gain or loose anything in a split second… we are all subject to radical change, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However that fragile state is a really good reason to take a look at everything we have and be very very grateful.

    Great post!
