Vol 2. Ch. 4 P. 1

acoustic guitar, guitar strums, music

Even though you left me here with an untouched guitar
— no assurances, no goodbyes —
I still believe that you’ll come back to sing to me.

    • I think it’s hard to talk about trust when it comes to someone whom we allow to leave their guitar behind. It’s all hope and waiting for the next time they decide to come by to sing a song. And it’ll stop when we finally decide that we can’t trust the owner of this guitar.

  1. Or maybe the subject of this story can write her (I feel this is a woman in this scenario) own songs.

I love these background stories, and filling in the blanks as to what could happen in them.
