corridor, hospital, hallway, alone

It hurts me when you pretend to forget,
but it hurts me more when you don’t have to.

  1. This quote reminds me of another one: That when a heart breaks, it doesn’t break even. –> Basically when two people break up one person remembers the love they once shared, while the other moves on and forgets so quickly, and easily.

  2. I am totally with Christine on this one. Ouch. But, with time one can forget the hurt. A healthy memory finds a way of healing, with the aid of time.

  3. Everything we think is so important is not always truly important in the larger scheme of things–so it is natural other people will forget–although we want them to treasure every molecule that WE think is important!
