You write a poem when the smiles on their faces can never be justified by a photograph. You take a picture when the poetry in their movements can never be captured by words.
I believe some of us write poetry without regard to the possibility of capturing what a photograph could capture, and there are those who reveal their poetry in their photography. This is a great post, as usual.
