Why is it that we do not count summer as part of real life? As a farm child, summer was the most “real” part of our year, what with all the planting, haygathering, hoeing, weeking, early gathering, marketing every weekend!
Well my holidays begin on Tuesday and I am heading off to the temperate rain-forest on a bus-man’s holiday. I will be taking my heavy rain gear (= personal sauna) and wondering why I don’t holiday in the warm dry sun that is probably going to be happening in my own backyard while I am away. Some people are just not very well organised.

Nooo. I still want my summer. 😦
You could play hookey on your lives and come to the northern hemisphere for another summer 🙂
I might just do that! Summer is just starting for you guys! 😀 It’s so rainy here now. 😦 – L
