There is no such thing as unrequited love. It’s one-sided. So it’s not love.
Unrequited love is the definition of “a crush”, which is a very good name for it when you think about it.
It happens usually with crushes, but sometimes, though, you can love someone for real, and not have them love you back.
I agree. I do think one-way love is possible without reciprocation, though I think perhaps there has to be something else in return that allows it to persist, even if only the absence of discouragement.
